I don’t know about you, but I have lost one of my kids before. We were visiting relatives in an unfamiliar city. We had visited a nearby park the night before and the next morning my child had decided to go play at the park, alone. That was the most scared I’ve been in my life!

One family who has a child with autism has created a system that provides security for this type of situation. Your child is assigned a qr code (pictured below) and you can have that code printed on cards, id tags, shoe tags and more.

Here is how it works:

1- Become a free member

2- Create a profile, This can be changed in real time when needed

3- Have special person wear or carry the iD patch, pins, clips, iD cards, shoe tags, or other iD products

4- When lost, the code can be scanned by a smartphone/tablet or the number associated with the code can be entered manually into the home page of If I Need Help to access the contact information

5- In a situation the profile can emailed to you and forwarded to searchers

6- Password protected secure site can be used to keep important personal information
